Today when I was talking to my husband about Patricksburg, he brought up the fact our son Charles Estep had written some articles about the town years ago before his death. I decided I would share this one with you all today. (Unedited) He might not have had all the facts straight, as I doubt of there were thousands of people displaced by the fire of 1926. I dont imagine there were that many people living in the town at the time but possibility the loss of business’s effected many about the whole of Owen County.
I grew up in a small town. Raised my children in Patricksburg, Indiana, a much smaller town than what I grew up in. I am taking it upon my self to promote the revival of this small town in which I have very fond memories of the life my husband and I had there raising my children.
